Grandvalira: Likewise Vallnord is not a territorial administrative division as a parish, region or municipality but is the name of the company that manages various Andorran ski resorts and has 210 kilometers of skiable tracks. It is considered the largest ski area in the whole Pyrenees. Six access to the lifts on the slopes: Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp. Since the latter two tracks access is not direct but is made by cable car. Likewise Grandvalira, Vallnord is not a region or municipality of Andorra but the ski domain managed by the company that gives it its name. Lifts, slopes, and access are distributed among the parishes of La Massana and Ordino. It has almost 90 kilometers of skiable slopes and tracks adding the La Massana, Arinsal, Pal and Ordino-Arcalis areas.

One of the seven Andorran parishes, located in the northeast corner of the country. The Shrine of Our Lady of Meritxell, the Virgin Andorra is devoted to is found here, and also an ice palace with an ice ring of Olympic dimensions. Several ski resorts of Grandvalira are located in this parish (Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu).

Sant Julià de Loire: The southernmost parish of Andorra. With the villages of Bixessarri, Fontaneda, Auvinyà, Juberri, Nagol, and Certers. Its capital, which gives its name to the parish is crossed by the river Valira. It is a true shopper's paradise that encourages tourists with its low taxation.
